Since a long time now I've counted to the web-developers without an own website. That's why I created this one. I hope you like it.
On search for a fiting Content Management System (CMS) for my relatively small website I discovered that I don't need one. In conclusion I decided to develop the whole site with the help of the PHP micro-framework silex.
There is no database, but all pages and blog posts are stored within regular text files. I especially took the file based blog system jekyll written in Ruby as an example. But I wanted to write it in PHP and wasn't able to find something good enough in the Open Source area.
That's why I will publish this website-engine as Open Source soon.
